The work consisted of a hot-tap connection to the existing LRWSC transmission main. Coordination with the pump house and reservoir contractor. Supply and installation of approximately 18.4km of (450mm/600mm) HDPE DR 11 transmission main by both open cut and HDD methods. Supply and installation of butterfly valves, air release valves and hydrant assemblies. Connection to the McCain Foods watermain. Highway 845 crossing via HDD, 750mm steel auger bore crossing of a rail ROW and a main canal crossing by HDD. Site restoration and clean-up.
